It is I, Carol from eons ago!

Hi All this is Carol originally from Odebolt when I had the surgery in August of 2004. I was 412 back then and down to 260 now! I have started to fall off the wagon and am coming back to the site after angry words were said by a few people on here to me a long time ago. God and I have forgive them. Life is to short to hold grudges. I now live in Ida Grove, IA and am just finishing up being recertification as a CNA. I couldn't do that job at 412lbs. It is so nice to go to Walmart to shop til I drop. And all those cool shapely tops they have! I am ready to date again. I was engaged when I started surgery but after getting back together with my fiance we decided it wasn't going to work out so we broke it off for good but are still good friends. I am talking to a guy from Sioux Falls who I think I'm FALLING for! I just posted my before and after pics so I don't know how soon they will be up. Thanks ahead of time for welcoming me back into the fold. Talk to you later.....gators!

Hi Carol I remember you! It seems all of the sudden like 10 people left at the same time. It has gotten pretty quiet around here, but still a great place for support! Ida Grove.....I don't remember who, as my memory sucks....but I know there are other WLS people in that town Your weightloss was great I too dealt with a little of the falling off of the wagon business......SUCKS! But I always come back here for support and get back on track. I am currently losing again, but am working my buns off. I had gained a few pounds It is a lot harder the further out you get when you don't change your lifestyle RIGHT away. One of my biggest regrets, I mean for the first year I did (besides the exercising ) I was the model patient, but after that I got ****y and tryed more things, ate more of the junk, got WAY to relaxed....I need to just stick with the program all together! Welcome back Carol. We have missed you here. Life is too short to be say mean things to people and hold a grudge. You have done great on your weight loss. I am a CNA also and have been doing it for over 11 yrs. I was 469 and it was very hard to do the job. Again, welcome back. Cindy

Welcome back, I am sorry you had a bad experience here on the board. Some people can be so thoughtless, and yet some don't mean it how it sounds. It is hard to get the emotions you mean when you don't see the person or hear how they are saying it. Any way that is to bad I know there have been others that have had this problem also. But we are glad to have you back. You can add so much to this board. You have done great with your loss so far and yes isn't it easy to fall off the wagon.
