updating
I am down to about 355 now so i ve lost about 60 something lbs. Down about 100 lbs from my highest weight. doing really well. first couple months seemed to be the hardest. It's a lot easier to get food now too and all the liquids i need to get in a day. first 6 weeks or so it seemed i could only get about half of what i was suppose to get in. had to get some new clothes went down from a 54 waist down to a 46 and there kind of a little big should of got a 44 but i figured they would last me a couple months or so. Was kinda pumped about that. People have been really noticing now that i have been losing weight too which is cool. Dont think i weighed this much since junior year high school. i get from people that face a looks a lot thinner and i look taller. dont know how a i look taller? i was about 6'3" before surgery and a still am. Also started yoga about 2 weeks ago with my brother and roommate. There was few poses on my stomach that couldnt do but everything else was fine. i dont remember being this sore even after football practice in high school. Seems every muscle in my body is sore for about 2 days after. going to start on light weights and cardio next week. My skin was dry before surgery and now its just brutal i have to put lotion on like twice a day or just break out and get all inchy but now its a lot better since i have been doing that. Seems like im doing pretty good though ,no major complictions from the surgery and i starting feel a lot more energetic than i was before. T.J.
Travis,
I'm glad to hear how well you are doing! Congratulations!!!!!
So what does your mom think now about the surgery? Is she (and the rest of your family) happy for you and glad you went through with it? How is it trying to stay away from all that good food at your grandparents and dads restaurant? I know that I wouldn't be able to handle the smells....YUMMMMMMMMM!!!
Keep up the good work and dont forget to keep us posted.

T.J. Isn't life grand after WLS who would have guessed it could be so enjoyable? It is a real rollercoaster ride at times. Finding the right foods and the right amount of everything, but once you do and start doing everything right it becomes much easier. Hope you are remembering your vitamins and other supplements. It didn't seem that important to me at first but I went without my vitamins for a month and man what a difference it made. So that is something I won't do again. You are doing awesome. You should be so proud of yourself. Especially since you have to be around all that good smelling food that we all love.
I know my freinds all asked me where my long legs came from, did I always have that long of legs? Yes of coarse I did they didn't lengthen after surgery, just don't look like old trees any more.
Keep up the good work and good luck with the yogi classes. That is something I always thought looked interesting but didn't think I could do. Maybe I should try it sometime. Thanks Cindy G.
