I finally found some protein I like

Hello everyone My brother told me to go to Nutribodies in Dubuque (past Menards) They have some whey protein isolate called Optimum Nutrition or ON I have tried the chocholate mint and the rocky road and they are awesome! 48 protein with 240 cals. and to mention a good part it is cheaper! $14 for 2.2 pound jug. It taste so good. This morning I mixed 2 scoops 7 ounces milk and 10 icecubes in a blender and it tastes like a chocholate milky vanilla with a touch of nuts. The choc. mint tastes like a girl scout thin mint cookie. Am I making you hungry? I do put more protein in and less fluid. Anyways give it a try the taste is so much better. He said if you don't like it you can return it and swap it or get your $ back. This is by far the best tasting stuff I had. Anways just wanted to share Angel

Angel, that is great that you found some protein you like. It is so much easier to get your protein in if you don't mind the taste. It just takes some trials and errors. You will feel much better when you get the right amount of protein, vitamins, and water. Way to go on your find. Thanks for sharing the info with us. Cindy G.

Thanks Angela! The kind that I have used the entire time from walmart, they discontinued...I am so bumbed. Mine was a whey vanilla protein, that didn't taste nasty, like some I have tried. I mixed it in a blender with 7 ice cubes, 2 oz cold water, 4 large frozen SF strawberries, and 1/2 banana, splenda to taste and it was a yummy strawberry/banana shake.
