Internist saga part 3

Okay, tomorrow is the TT. I call the surgeon's office to see if the internist has sent my physical and labs. Nope. And they said they had talked to her and didn't expect that she would. Surgeon said that was okay and they could do anything needed right before surgery. I'm not sure what was said between the two, but I'm certainly gonna ask. So anyway, I'm totally hot. I call the internist and they said they were faxing it right then. Boy, if they hadn't been, I was gonna camp my butt in their waiting room until they did or called the police to have me removed! What gives her the right! I paid for that service. She is sooo fired. Boy, is she ever gonna get a piece of my mind after I talk to my surgeon. He must think she's nuts too. All this just because I said I "thought I MIGHT be getting a sinus infection!" Can you say "Over reaction?" Right now I'm going to go hop in the bubble tub and have a Calgon take me away moment since it will be a while before I can again. I'll check in as soon as I'm able. Lyn

Best of luck to you tomorrow, Lyn!! It is a shame that you have had to deal with your internist's poor behavior...as if having surgery isn't stressful enough!! I don't understand why some docs think they are general manager of the universe. You are so right that you hired her and paid for that service! Hope your calgon moment keeps you feeling rested and relaxed. Write when you can! Nicole T.
