Okay, it has been forever since I have posted. Obviously surgery went well. The day I went in (10/25) I was 326, I am now 244. I can't even put into words how happy I am My question is now I am able to eat more, but obviously a bit timid. I have found that subway tuna wrap is great (of course only half, if that!) Anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks so much!!!

I am very happy to hear you are doing so good. 82 lbs in 2 1/2 mos is really good. Keep up the good work. I can understand how you would be timid to try new foods. I am 1 year out and still have some problems with meat. It is mostly in my head, they taste terrible. But some of it is a real problem. I can eat most anything most of the time but choose not to. I can only eat a few bites then it makes me feel gaggy. Any way I would suggest you stay with moist meat, like chicken salad for awhile instead of trying a chicken breast. It seems more people have problems with the chicken breast and turkey. Try the thin sliced meat in a rollup with cheese or a thin layer of mayo. Those were all things that are very easy for me to digest and like I say I now have a picky pouch. I have found some protein powder with out a taste or bad smell or the grit, that I put in about anything I eat. That is how I get most of my protein now. I do still drink 1 shake a day and drink carb countdown choc. milk dailly. Stay in touch with us and let us know how things are progressing. We love to hear from you. Cindy
