I hope someone else has had this "problem". I'm three weeks post op with no weight loss in three days. I have increased exercising to 3 m.p.h. for 20 min. daily. I have a couple ideas of what could be happening: 1. I'm beginning to increase muscle mass or 2. I am deydrating and need to increase my fluid intake. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!

Hi Eric, I went 7 weeks without losing any weight. I found that I have to eat something every 2-3 hours to keep my metabolism going. I lost 11 pounds this week. I am so excited. I also believe that you need to eat at least 60-90gm protein shakes. Yes muscle will cause a problem too. Be sure to drink at least 64oz of water daily. April

Actually, I think that you have hit what most of u**** at about 3 weeks, that first dreaded plateau. Don't worry, it won't last long at all. It's just your body catching up. It has realized that it is, for the most part, starving and is hanging onto the fat for dear life, trying to protect you. Keep drinking, you can't do wrong there, increase it if possible. That will help. It's the fluids that wash the fat from your body. Dixie
