Post-op visit/WOW moment

aWednesday Mom and I trekked down to Grinnell for my 2 wk visit. Dr Kermode was very impressed with the way I was healing. He said normally he only takes out every other staple but since I was doing so well they took out two of every three. Wooo hoooo.....man, I was glad to get them out! When we got in the car...I had a wow moment.....I didnt have to struggle to get my seatbelt on! I even had room! Before I could bet it around...but it was tight...with no extra room. So I knew I had lost. I also noticed that my face wasnt nearly as puffy as it had been when I put on my make up. They weighed me....and I lost 15 lbs since surgery! And 25 lbs since my first visit. By this time next year......I hope to be shopping in regular sizes! That is my goal. billie jo

Billie, This is great! You will have so many Wow moments. I wish I had made a list. You might want to consider it so you can review them when, or if, you get discouraged. I have news for you. You will be shopping in regular sizes long before this time next year, at the rate you are going. You'll be surprised how quickly your shape will change. Cool, huh? Dixie
