Hi I'm trying to be stress free, but don't know if it's working. My migraines have come back heavy, worse, (hurts to even be typing this), but have taken my tyenol, but not cutting it. I need to start wrapping presents, but not working as well as I thought. Going to try to get to the Y tomorrow Take Care Love Lisa

Hi Jes, Sorry you're not feeling well. How awful a sore tummy & a migraine! Emilee is doing beautifully. I spent 3 hours holding her Sunday afternoon while Mommy napped. It was the shortest 3 hours I've spent in a long time. It was so fun. She'd snuggle up in my arms & occassionally wake a bit, lift her little head, stretch out her neck, scrunch up her nose, & then lay back down again. Can you tell I'm in love? She doesn't like to be laid down so for now we are all accomodating her. I don't know if Kerensa will be able to keep it up now that Ben is back to work. Emilee sleeps on his tummy at night. I wish I could see that. I'd love a picture. I have one from over 30 years ago of his Dad doing just that with our oldest son. I am not ready for Christmas. I need to get more for Doug & Matt, both very hard to buy for. I bought ham & boneless turkeys today as I have my kids & MIL on Sunday & my sister & brother & their families on Monday, around 40 of us, I think. I need to start planning for that. My house is semi clean. It won't take long to get ready that way. Well, if your'e traveling up Highway 63 on your way to CC, wave to the right just after you pass highway 93. We're one mile to the east of 63. If you're taking 218, well, nevermind. Have fun with your family. I intend to but I bet I'll have to fight to get my hands on Emilee with my sister & nieces in the house! Dixie

Jesi, it sounds like you are going to be a bit busy this week. I too have some baking to do, but if I don't get it done I can always get it to them after Christmas. We had our family Christmas on Sunday and 3 of the 4 kids and their families were there. My Daughter is in India and she called so that was a good thing. I am glad it is over but also a little sad. I was worried what we would do on Christmas but that is no longer a worry. My girlfriend from High School, her husband died suddenly Sund.evening and I have got alot to do with her now. She suffers from M.S. and was going in the semi with him for a couple years now. I feel so bad for her, she is just totally lost. There is so little I can do to help her but I will keep trying. If you know of any thing I can do to help her please advise me. I'm not the best in these situations, all I can do is cry. That isn't very helpful. She has 2 grown children and 2 granddaughters but like I say she wasn't home much these last couple years and her granddaughters don't really know her so that isn't comforting for her. Oh well God will show us a way to get through this. He at least had gotten home and wasn't on the road when it happened. Enough about me I seem to ramble on and on sometimes. I am sorry to hear you are having ulcer trouble. Have they tried an antibodic? Or do they think it has something to do with surgery? I sure hope you get some relief from this new medicine. It will be hard to eat for Christmas if you are still having problems. Have a safe trip home and enjoy your family. Are you the leader of the girlscouts? You are a very ambitious woman. I don't think I could do all you do. I tried when my kids were little to be a boyscout leader, I wasn't any good at it. We managed to get some of our badges, but I could have been better and the kids would have enjoyed it more. I bet you do all kinds of fun things don't you? Well don't mean for this to be a book just wanted to Wish you and Yours a Merry Christmas. Cindy G.

well, I am just sitting around incubating...LOL...hoping the next 8 days go quickly! This last month has seemed to last a lifetime! I think I will celebrate an "after-Christmas" Christmas!! like a Christmas in February, or something! I haven't had a chance to bake any sugar cookies, even tho I know I shouldn't eat them, either, I just love to decorate!! Anyone tried the roll out sugar cookie recipe with Splenda blend? they are good! Hope your ulcer feels better! and try to relax a little, will you!! just reading your post has caused me to need a nap! LOL...it is GREAT you are SO active!!! ---isn't it amazing what a few years post op can do to a person!! Have a great holiday!

We're having a very quiet Christmas. We celebrated this past weekend so it's just the 3 of us all weekend (me, hubby, collie). I plan on spending one of the three days in my jammies, in bed, watching movies, reading, snoozing, snuggling with the dog. No shopping, no cleaning, no cooking unless I feel like it! Me time. We'll go to church Christmas Eve and I will play flute (need to practice). That's it. Really quiet and looking forward to it. Everyone have safe travel and take care of your tummies! No grazing or over eating! Merry Christmas Lyn
