It has been so long since I have posted, I am sorry for not keeping you all updated. Things have been super crazy the last 4 months. Here is the short version. Jeff my husband had an accident in early August which resulted in a moderate concussion and two blood clots in his brain. He is pretty much fully recovered now except for some cognitive hesitation and short term memory issues. Nothing really in comparison to what could have happened. Doctors stated that he very well could have broken his neck with the angle that he hit his head. He was off work for 4 months with no income. Money got a little tight so I started working a second job to help out and ensure that we could still take the vacation that I have been promising the kids since the non refundable plane tickets were bought in Feb....long before the accident. Jeff and I decided to move forward with the trip as planned--This whole experience has taught us life is too short, never know what will happen tommorow. So ~we are heading to Orlando right after the New Year for 6 nights. I am hoping that this trip will "reset my batteries" and when I get back I hopefully will be able to assume the old routine. Things have been so chaotic, and unorganized, right now I am the most scatter brained person I know. :-> I am sorry to say that I have not lost a great deal more weight since I last posted. Right now I stand @ 100 lbs lost. I look and feel pretty good. My belly is my biggest foe. I would like to loose another 20 the 30 lbs in the next 6 months. I am tentitively planning reconstructive surgery around Nov of next year. I know that I will really need to focus and make an effort as things have really slowed down. I have not been exercising like I should, I have not been careful about what I eat. But I am trying and have started to get back into gear. I am confident that I will meet my goal. I have come to far to stop now. Just hit a little hiccup along the way. Anyway-Holidays wishes to you and your families- Stay warm and Stay safe and enjoy each other. Love and Hugs, Sherri UH.....Sorry, I did say this was going to the short version, I guess I had a lot to share

My goodness girl when have you had time to exercise or think even. I am so glad everything turned out ok for you guys. One never knows what lays ahead do we. That is why we should always live life to the fullest, easier said than done though. You will have alot to celebrate this Christmas and a fun time to look foward to after Christmas. Wish I was going with you. If for no other reason to go somewhere warmer. You will have no trouble loosing the rest of your weight once the holidays are over and you have time to go back to the eatting healthy and exercise. You have come a long way and that is why you will be sucessful. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you. I will be your cheerleader for a while if it helps any. Have a good Christmas and better New Year. Cindy G.
