I had my surgery on Monday at 12:30 and got to go home last night so we beat the snow storm and I didn't get stuck at the hospital. I gotta say that this was a very easy surgery for me. I was surprised. My Dr was able to do a laproscopic RNY and it went well with no complications at all. On Tuesday morning before the exray to check for leaks I got sick, but it was more from not having any water etc for two days I think. Once I was able to get some ice chips etc I was good to go. I've had not problems and I feel pretty good. And it was nice to sleep in my own bed last night As the saying goes there's no place like home. Terry

You are home already!! Good for you! Hallelujah for laparascopic RNY!! Smart thinking to head off the snowstorm. Take it easy and don't feel bad about sleeping a lot. You'll feel like yourself before you know it! Congratulations and good luck to you! Nicole

Congratulations, home is a good place to be, as long as you take it easy and follow all your surgeons directions. It is so easy to say or I'll just do this little bit more or clean this room only and the next thing you know you are exhausted and have over done it. Its the holiday season and things are suppose to be out of place and a little dustier than usual so let it go for now. You will do wonderful take alot of time for yourself to heal. Be nice to yourself. I'm happy to have you on the looser bench with me. CIndy G.
