On pins & needles

Got to work today, after spending the afternoon with dr appointments to learn that my granddaughter is on her way. I DO NOT WANT TO BE AT WORK! Grandma Dixie

No news yet. I called the hospital at 6:30 & they were just giving Kerensa pitocin to get her contractions going. I would love to be there but feel it is a private time for husband & wife so didn't even ask. However, you can bet I'll be there tomorrow with my camera. Dixie

My appointment went good. Angie already cleared me to go back to the pool on Wednesday. We combined the GB follow up with my 2 year appointment. My blood tests were good except for B1. Last year I was high & didn't have to take it. Now I am low. My feritine was also on the low side of normal and last time it was on the high side. The difference is enough that she wants my blood drawn in another 6 months to make sure it is back to where it should be. Other than that everything was good & she feels I can probably still lose another 10 lbs or so if I want but to not be upset if I don't. She agrees that it still might not come off my legs and I'd still lose on top, which as you know, I don't need. If I lose much more, I really will look like a grandmother, all wrinkly. Oh, and of course we had to talk babies & she told me where to go shopping for baby girls, just in time, I guess. Still no word. Ben sounded pretty calm when I talked to him awhile ago. He'll probably be like Al was. He's helped so many cows deliver, this will be nothing to get excited about. Now, if I were there,it would be a different story. But at least Ben knows that babies do not come hands first. Dixie
