I'm having a problem on figuring out what brands of juices will be ok after RNY surgery. Can anyone give me some ideas? They all look like the have to much sugar in them. That's the only thing on my shopping list I haven't gotten yet. Terry

I know there is a sugar free frozen grape juice out there but I thought it was pretty nasty. My surgeon had us water down out juice 50/50. That way the sugar was much less & it was less strong so it didn't burn going down. Godd luck with your surgery. Dixie

If you look in the fridge aisle.....at the boxed juices.....Minute Maid and Tropicana make light juices.....they only have 10cal and minimal sugars for a 8oz glass. Another good thing to do is take like cranberry apple light and mix it with water......the cranberry is good for you, and with the light it is less calories and sugar and then halfing it with water, even less guilt And then there are always the S/F drinks.....wylers is good also the walmart brand....these are all buy the koolaids.....they are by far the cheaper way to go.....becuase for like 2.50 you get like 4 pitchers worth and all you have to do is add the water. Another way to go if you get bored with the other options is to pick out your fave koolaids and make them with splenda instead of sugar.....again guilt free but the crazy flavors can really help break the same ole' same ole'.....plus my kids love it and they aren't drinking the sugar filled regular stuff......Heck koolaid even makes 10calorie packs juices for on the go....I send those with my kids to school now! Anyways there is enough for the day.....Take Care jesi
