Hi I'm getting more depressed, I feel that I'm not loosing anything, but scared to get on the scale. Haven't talked to my doctor, only because I have no insurance and don't want dad to pay for too much. I have gone to the Y (just started back up). I'm not sure. I know I should not let it get to me, but I don't want to end up like I was before surgery. School is just about over. I have one class now, and I'll be done next Tuesday for the year. HOORAY!! I will graduate in May. I did pass the test for the Post Office, so now I'm trying to figure out what to do next. But Dad says school comes first, since no one can take my education away from me. Christmas is depressing, (in a way) I have to ask for money for Christmas, I wanted to do crafty things so I wouldn't have to spend money, but Mom and Dad insisted that they give me some money to spend. I got Mom a scanner for her computer, and a Crystal block that my picture is on, (got it free at school), Dad don't know, my 2 little nieces, their first Cabbage Patch Kid dolls, my sister in law, I'm actually doing a collage on her favorite Country music guy, Gary Allan. and my brother no idea. I think I got a new car, only because no one will let me go to the shop to help Dad. or else, that's where my presents are. Who knows. We're supposed to get 2-3 more inches of snow, it's only 8 am. I'm getting too cold and don't like driving in it, especially when you can't see the lines. Well, guess that's all for now. Thanks for letting me blabber. Sincerely, Lisa Young

I too am getting real tired of winter. It is always a depressing time of year for me. But for some reason this year hasn't been so depressing. I don't know if I finally am on the right meds or what. Maybe the caffene I started drinking is helping in some way. I know I'm not to be drinking caffene but I needed an apitite stimulator. Any way it sounds like you are doing a good job on your Christmas list. It is hard to come up with presents little lone purchase them. Everything is so expensive now a days. I don't know how we managed when our kids were smaller and we weren't making as much as we do now. But we always had Christmas presents for everyone. Of coarse now the kids have added others to our list with spouses and grandkids. Wow only one class, you have to much time on your hands to think about how your WLS has done. You have done good, you just need to get back to the basics and keep plugging along. Everyone seems to hit a plateau at some point you can break it I'm sure. If not aren't you weighing less than you used to? Of coarse you are, be happy with what you have done so far. I know that is easier for me to say than it is to accept it. I think now that you have time to get in more exercise you will see a difference. I'm sure your family is very proud of you and are very excited to see you graduate. You have accomplished so much. Be proud of yourself. I'm cheering for you. Have a good holiday season and let the worries slip away for awhile. Hold your head high and march on through these cold miserable days. Hey Lisa.......I don't think it is a plateau.....I think it is because you are almost two years out....The losing at this point is pretty much NON-existant unless your working SUPER hard at it! Get on a scale somewhere and see where you are.....it is a great way to keep yourself in check! SOunds like you have your presents pretty much all figured out It is snowing here too.....just hope it doesn't get too bad....the twins have ballet tonight and their first choir concert!!! Take Care jesi
