I GOT THE SHAKES!!!!!!!
I would guess the shakes could be from not getting enough nourishment. Your body is trying to adjust to its new way of life. If it presists call your Dr. Glad to have you on the loosers bench with us. As far as taking a bath I don't know I had an open surgery so it was different for me. Have a good holiday season. Enjoy this amazing ride. Cindy G.
I get the shakes when I am low on sugars........Another thing to watch out for is HOT showers....I remember the nurses warning me that right after surgery a hot shower can drop your blood pressure and make you super dizzy and stuff QUICK....I din't really believe her until I about passed out in the shower! I was cleared to do baths after all the incisions were healed, or at least had good scabs on them.....I know for a fact I wasn't in a tub at a week out, I still had JP darins in at that time. I would put a call into your surgeon, ask about the shakes and the tub....better to be safe than sorry!!! Take Care and good luck jesi
What is your temperature? Is it possible that you were chilling from a high temp and did not know it? It is possible to get an infection of the wounds a week after surgery. Remember that if you have a temp you should call your doc and take in more water. A fever can be triggered by dehydration. Good Luck, Nicole
Thanks to everyone *****plyed. I called my doctors office today and was told to begin taking orange juice or apple juice with a little more sugar in it. The shakes are from my sugar being to low. I have had no temp at all so I was pretty sure that it was not that. I have slipped on my liquids some though. Must get them back to usual. Thanks again to everyone.
