Hello! Here is an update: I had lap RNY on the 28th. The doctor told my family it went like clockwork. I was up and walking early, passed the barium swallow test, and got to come home today at 1:00pm. I am having a lot of back pain- which is in between my shoulder blades and I think it is gas pain. The liquid lortab is holding me well but makes me really sleepy. I have quite a few bruises from the Lovenox injections and surgical incisions, but all in all am feeling good. Tonight I mixed some chocolate protein in ho****er and had a nice hot chocolate drink. Tomorrow I am going to try to stay awake more--so that I can be sipping more liquids. Thanks for your good thoughts! Nicole

I am so happy to hear your surgery went so well for you. It is nice to be home isn't it. Congrautlations and welcome to the loosing side. Take things easy for awhile, just get those liquids, protien and vitamins in. Good luck and keep us posted on how you are doing. Cindy G.

Congrats, Nicole! I know that I had a very easy recovery, but I really don't remember a lot of it - probably because of the Roxicet. I got some good sleep in! Keep us updated and welcome to the other side! Amy
