Pain on right side, Normal?
I am 2 weeks out from lap surgery and was wondering if a steady "muscle" like pain on my right side is normal. I only feel it when I move. I can't tell if it is a muscle or if it might be something else. Any suggestions out there? I'll call Dr. if it gets worse, I don't want to call if it is nothing.

Boy this user name stuff took me a while to get logged onto site just to respond to you! Anyway yes it is normal to have pain I do not know if you had it done lapriscopic or the large incision but I had it done lap and I had alot of pain of my right side and my mid belly and that is due to all the rearranging and reattaching that they do and they do most of their work in this area with their instruments. If you are in doubt though please call your docter hope that this helped a bit. Take care and congrats on your wls journey! Kim L. 300/127
Don't hesitate to call your Dr. for any question. He gets paid the big bucks to know the answers to all our questions. He also has a staff to help him with the calls. So go ahead call him. He would probably rather you call than not. Mine would. He used to get upset with me for waiting until an appointment to ask my questions.
I had open ryn so don't know what your pain is about. But wondering if it is gas, or just a muscle shifting back into place. Hope this subsides soon and you continue on this amazing journey trouble free. Good luck and let us know we care and are interested.
