GUESS WHAT!!!!

I got my approval!!! I got home yesterday from work and there was an envelope from AmeriHealth. I was trying to decide if I wanted to open it or not. I called them on Monday(10/24) to find out the status of my request. My letter had been sent on 10/7. The lady told me it was received on 10/11 and that it was in the second stage of review. I got home on the 25th and the letter was sitting there. Of course, I was expecting the worst. The letter was dated on the 19th, it only took them 8 days! I faxed my surgeon's coordinator a copy. I guess the ball is rolling. I have to come up with $300 for the co-pay for Mercy's support program, before I can start it. Then I have to find $500 deposit for the surgeon. So right now the only thing holding me back is the money... BUT THE WORST PRE-OP WORRY IS OVER!!! I can have my surgery!!!! Thank you for your support and prayers!!!

Congats!!!!!!!!!!! I remember how happy I was when I got my approval. I didn't believe it and I called the insurance company.
