OT: Mediacom e-mail help

Good morning friends in Iowa! I have a friend who lives up in the far northeast corner of Iowa who has Mediacom as her e-mail/internet provider. A while ago she had some problem with her computer so had to reload all her computer software. When she got her e-mail back up and running, apparently she has some setting on there which allows her to send out e-mail, but no one else can e-mail her back. I have AOL which has an area that the user can change to either block or allow e-mail, etc. so I'm sure she has the same thing but obviously not knowing anything about how Mediacom works, I can't direct her where within her e-mail account to make the changes. She's very timid with the computer so hopefully it's not anything too technical. Her e-mail address has .mchsi at the end so if anyone else has the same type of e-mail and can let me know how one can change the settings within the e-mail, I'll call her and give her the suggestions.
