Hi Everyone! I was originally scheduled to deliver Alexis Leigh-Ann via c-section on 11/11/05 (her due date); but, I was informed today that my OB/GYN would not be able to be present to deliver. I could have had a different doctor deliver her; but, this doctor knows my history (was my OB/GYN through my prior pregnancies) and it just didn't feel right. My new delivery date is one week earlier on 11/04/05. Now...I just need to break it to my husband that our daughter will not share her birthday with him now. He's going to be SO disappointed...but, we will get to hold her one week (at least) sooner this way, too. Two weeks, two days to go! Hope everyone is having a FABULOUS day! ~~Sherry E.D.D. of Alexis Leigh-Ann~~11/11/05 Scheduled C-section on 11/04/05 Twin ~~06/05/00 Joshua Thomas~~10/23/99

Hey Jesi!! Joshua has been way TOO excited since we told him he was going to have a baby sister. He hasn't stopped asking if it's time to go to the hospital yet. Joshua doesn't have school the day of the c-section...I'm debating on whether or not to have him be there for everything (well...not in the OR) or have his grandparents bring him to the hospital later...what do you think? I haven't taken any pregnancy pics......for the longest time I didn't even look pregnant. Now, that she has dropped, I look like Shamu. I don't have a digital camera; but, I do plan on taking pics before I leave for the hospital and in the hospital; and, then having the film developed onto a disc...at least I will be able to upload them to the computer that way. So...it may not be for a while...but, I promise that I will. (((Hugs))) ~~Sherry

Congrats sherry! We live so close yet we have not met yet! I know where you live from when I dropped off the clothes but lets get together in the near future when you have your new little bundle of joy and things aren't so hectic for you or myself i have been very busy. I keep wondering if I would run into you at the grocery store or pronto I am always running for something. I wish the best for your family and your new little one! Maybe I will see you at the christmas concert in december. think we could pick each other out of the mob???? Take care! Kim

Hi Kim! That would be great...I haven't seen your pic; so, you would have to try to spot me. Seems I'm always going to the grocery store for something...I suffer from CRS lately a lot. (((Hugs))) ~~Sherry

Congrats Sherry! You know I had Baby Katie about 7 months ago....my 3 yr old twins came about3 hours after my c-section...we cleared the room..just our family (myhusband and kids) and it was very special...they stayed about an hour and grandma took then home after that...it was a beautiful memory for all of us...I think if you have an easy planned exit for Joshua when you need some quiet its great! Although hes a lot older than 3 so he would prob. be fine no matter what. Good luck..this is so exciting! You'll be in my prayers! Deb Paul

Hi Deb! Thank you so much...all prayers are very much appreciated! I was thinking (like you did) that it would probably be better to have his Grandparents keep him in the morning and bring him up after I'm out of recovery...less stress on him (and Grandma and Grandpa!) and less time to get too impatient. He's really looking forward to her being here...but, I have a question for you. Was their any *jealousy* on the part of your twins towards the baby? I'm thinking that I might have gifts for him and his new sister to exchange when they meet...?... I just don't want him feeling left out when she arrives... Thank you again, Deb! ~~Sherry
