Hi Pam
I also have IBS. I had it before surgery. I had my surgery December 22, 2003. My doctor said it could get 100% better or worse. Well, it went worse. They tell me to Take Immodium AD, but I get so constipated that I am uncomfortable. So, what they have given me is called Lonox, (Sp?), and I take one right before I eat. Then I usually don't have problems, but when I do it's hours in the bathroom. It's not fun!
But welcome to the Iowa board. I really love Jesi P, also. She and everybody here are very good supporters.
Take care
