Just wanted to say not to rule out your gallbladder, you may have had a false/positive report? I too was having the same pain your describing and mine came back negative but my Dr. went in anyway to remove it and I had alot of gravel in there! Tis one of the side effects of having this surgery! Hang in there and hope you get things taken care of and feel better, Janet

Mine was like that, too (pre-op)...no stones, just 'sludge' and it WAS my GB...don't let it go too easily. (((Hugs))) & feel better soon! ~~Sherry

I had upper right quadrant pain before surgery. My ultrasound was normal. But during surgery when he looked at the gallbladder, he said it wasn't functioning at all. I no longer have the pain. So normal ultrasounds don't always mean a normal gallbladder.

I asked the gastroenterologist about that yesterday as I have heard that story many times but he doesn't seem to think that is the problem. I suspect that eventually we will find that is what is causing it as over the year I have had lots of gall bladder type symptoms but tests came back negative then too. But another surgery this year???? AHHHHHH! It's bad enough that I keep putting my gynecologist off because she wants to do a little repair. Tomorrow he is scoping me to rule out an ulcer. He also said it could lbe adhesions causing the pain as I had adhesions from my hysterectomy & my surgeon removed them when he did my WLS 3 months later. If you get adhesions once, you are likely to get them again. Problem though is they grow back when they are removed so I don't know what they do. I'll let you know what I find out tomorrow. Oh, Sherry, I was in F. ( I won't say the name of your town) for a baby shower on Saturday. While driving through town I was on the lookout for a very PG woman. I was gong to stop & ask if she were you but no luck. Only PG gal I saw was my niece. She is due next month too. Her name is Christel & lives on South Street with her SO. Maybe you've met. Dixie

I don't *think* I know anyone named Christel...though, I may know her SO...small town, you know. South Street is not far from me at all either...of course, this is a VERY small town...nothing is very far away from me, within city limits. If you saw a pregnant woman with her hair up in a ponytail and no make-up (otherwise known as looking like sh&t) it WAS probably me! Feel better soon...and, it really does sound like your gall bladder. ~~Sherry
