gas pain in shoulder?

Ok guys...how do I get rid of this pain in my shoulder? I know that I didn't pull a muscle or anything but for the last few days I've had this horrible pain in my shoulder. I'm guessing it's gas from the surgery but how do I get rid of it? I am walking everyday (up to 3 miles a day some days) and try to stay active during the day but when I do sit down at the computer or to watch TV, I can't sit still because of the pain. I have had to start taking the Ultracet again and even that doesn't really work. Hubby has given me a few massages and I've tried Bengay but it's just not going away. Are there any other secrets to getting rid of the gas that I haven't tried? Just when I was feeling so good..... Leslie 306.5/262.5/Healthy

You're far enough out that it shouldn't be gas from surgery. I had a nasty muscle spasm under my shoulder blade from surgery. My doc finally injected it and then it was wonderful. Contact your surgeon to be sure there isn't something else going on because that isn't normal.
