third time is a charm
Ok. I've now got my third date set. It better stick this time cause if I have to reschedule again, I'm gonna say for get this. I accepted the second delay at work cause I do really like my job and don't want to put it in jeopardy with pressing the issue. I think I am ok now though. In January the county hospital will be managing our clinic. Friday the office manager called me in to see if I had rescheduled again, I told her that I had and that it was scheduled for January 9th now. She said she just wanted a date that she could tell the hospital HR director that this had been pre approved before the hospital took over mgmt. I hope that is a good sign!
Sorry I have not been on lately. I have been reading all your posts though. It is kind of tough to read some posts. I was soo close twice and now am waiting again.(yes i'll have some cheese with my whine).
I did get my ins. co to give me an extension though so I don't have to go through the approval process and such all over again.
Well got to go my son is calling for homework help. Teenagers argh!!! Till next time............................
Don't give up it will all happen. Just keep us posted and when you feel down between now and then, just let us know we will help keep your spirits up.
Have you thought of coming to a support group meeting before your surgery? Sometimes that will give you some ideas on what you will have to do after surgery and what to expect. They are at the local hosp. the first Mon. night of the month at 6:30. It is informal and just a bunch of people get together and talk about what works for them and what hasn't.
We had a plastic surgeon come talk one night and that was very interesting. Just give us a try sometime.
I hope your job appriciates you delaying and staying to help them out.
I remember when you were a teenager so don't get to frustrated with yours, just kidding. They grow up so fast and are gone before you know it. Thier teenage years are just a way for god to give us strength to let them go when we have to. We are more than ready by the time they put us through all they do. But will always wish they were back.
