depressed
Hello
I'm not sure how I am. I feel like crying. I've been working on my homework at school, since I'm not understanding the homework, (Powerpoint) and it's an online course. They didn't have enough people sign up for it. So I am in the resource room asking for help and the teachers don't know anything about Powerpoint. I did talk to someone who will tutor me, but she can't do it until next week. I'm way behind. I'm on chapter 6 and there are 20 chapters. Everything is due by October 10, (only 8 week class).
Sorry, I'm just upset. Everything is happening like last semester. With no help.
Sorry I had to vent, since I can't yell at anybody here. The teacher is in class then at lunch, so I'm waiting for her to be in her office.
I'm going to close for now and go check to see if she is in her office.
Talk to you all later.
Take care
Lisa Young
You vent away girl that is what we are for. I understand your frustration. It is hard to learn something when no one is available to answer any questions or teach you. I would think that powerpoint would be a tough class to take on line.
Chin up, be proud of what you already have accomplished in life. Don't feel bad if you have a down day. We all get them.
What are you taking classes for? What do you want to do when your done with school?
Just remember we are here to listen and help when we can.
I can't imagine taking college classes. I barely made it through school 30 years ago. I am just lucky to have the job I do right now. I work in the school system. I am in a room where the students come to makeup tests or use computers or have tests or their studies read or they dictate to me. It is a great job but the kids know more than I do so I don't feel like I help them much. I am still learning though. So keep your head up and hopefully tomorrow will be better. Cindy G.
Lisa,
I am sure things will turn around once you get some help next week. I remember when I first started using Powerpoint- none of it made sense to me. I use it a bit now but just for basic presentations- the bells and whistles are still a mystery to me. How frustrating to have no one available to assist you! I would also be freaking out if I had a lot of unanswered questions and was behind with only a couple of weeks left. Hang in there though-sending my wishes to you for good things next week with your class.
