Morning all

Haven't been around much here lately. Past 2 weeks have been hectic between getting Katie in school, babysitting & working at the bar. The bosses mom had gallbladder surgery, 81 yrs old. They were able to lap on her but she didn't bounce back. She passed away last Sat morning. So everyone has been pitching in working & filling in. So my days start around 3:30 a.m., up at the kids house by 5:30 until 8:30 catch up with dad help him out come home around noon grab a bite to eat back at the kids around 3:15 til 4:30 then the bar at 5 til anywhere from 10 to midnight depending on how busy we are. The butt is starting to leave tracks it's draggin so bad Hopefully will slow down. Gas prices are hurting big time, the van that does so well on gas doesn't seem to be anymore! And it cost $60 to fill it. My son drives 60 miles round trip per day & it's costing close to $100 per week. He's looking to quit his job & find something here in town, even the convience store as he would still be money ahead! Daughter-in-law works for Blue Bunny & has excellent benefits. Isn't it terrible that you can go in the hole because of gas prices?? Hope everyone is doing fine, haven't even taken time to read posts. Take care. Carolyn

Oh no, sorry to hear about your bosses mom's death. You sure are busy. I really hate gas prices, I put 5 gallons in my car and cost me just as much to fill up last year. I remember when gas was 98 cents in Texas....aww the good ole days!

Good morning Carolyn! I thought of you yesterday as my samples of True Lemon came in the mail.....I am going to have to try it today and see how it taste. Where do you buy yours at again???? WOW~your a busy lady.....reading all of that makes me tired ......can you imagine doing a fraction of that over a year ago.....bet not!!! One thing is tho....I worry about ya not getting enough sleep....better make sure to take care of yourself I too am NOT liking filling up right about now...we have a 24 gallon gas tank......thats about $75 for a fill The only thing is....can't do a darn thing about it....I need gas.....gotta take the girls to school and back everyday and we aren't walking There school is 2miles away.....across HIGHWAY 20, but we don't qualify for bus service Sucks tho, for like your son.....tight already and almost impossible to try and get buy when gas cost more than groceries! I was thinking about you the other day. I hadnt seen you post in a while and was wondering what you were doing. Gas prices are terrible...hopefully they will come down soon. billie jo
