Frustrated

I just got an e-mail from a gal that is going through this process with me, at the same hospital. We've had our meetings the same days, only difference is I had my sleep study before she did. I had my appointment with my sleep doc before she did. My doc wants a EKG and air blood gas completed before he'll ok me. She just told me she is being cleared by the doc this week, and SHE ALREADY HAS A DATE!!! Every time I call up to the center, they are rude and tell me to wait. I'm honestly about ready to give up.

(((Tracie)), I know it is flustrating at times. Everyone is diffrent and some people may need extra tests where others don't. It is because the doc just wants to make sure everything is ok. At times it seems unfair but you must remember this is not a race to wls. Sorry they are rude to you. Don't give up. your date will be here before you know it. ~Cindy~

Don't give up......they are being cautious and waiting till your test are complete.....ya can't blame them for that........Tell your doc...you want your tests and you want them ASAP........It is totally frustrating most of the time....but in the end it is all worth it......and you probably won't even remember the wait. I would rather have an over cautious slower surgeon, then one that'll throw ya up on the table just to make a buck! He is looking out for you, and him! (((((HUGS))))))) You'll get through it!!! Thanks ladies. I know everyone is different, I was just super upset to read what she wrote me last night. I know the Dr's are being extra cautious, but it's frustrating because of the point that we are moving to Waterloo in 45-60 days. I want to be strong by the begining of Nov. I dunno after I get my tests today, I'm going to try to hand carry the rests to both the weight loss center and my sleep doc. I'm going to call the WLC and see what else they want done to get me on the schdule. Unfortunately I'm on a time crunch.
