I remember having a pain like that......except mine was lower. I hurt so bad sometimes, I wouldn't be able to walk.......I would just have to swat and put lots of pressure on it. I remember having to do that a few times out in public and my mom wanting to take me to the hospital Unfortunately theres no telling how long it will last.....hopefully it will go away soon Take Care and sending well wishes your way jesi

Jesi, I sure wish that little green guy could zap the pain for me. Nothing else seems to be working. I'm just encouraged by the fact that you and others got through the pain fairly quickly. I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and encouragement Leslie 306.5/269.5/healthy

I'm so sorry you're in so much pain! Hopefully yours will turn out like some of the other on this board and it will disappear overnight. I would try heat, that really helped me during my recovery. It will be sooooo worth it, believe me! Some ideas to break up the monotony of your day: 1) Flirt with the mailman until he gets flustered. 2) Order 1 dozen pizzas to be delivered to your worst enemy. 3) Make prank phone calls to unsuspecting relatives. Just a few ideas...let me know how they turn out ! Please take care and know we are all thinking about you and praying for yoU! Colleen

Colleen, maybe I'll try the heating pad again tomorrow but the skin is so sensitive where the pain is but I'll try anything to get rid of this pain. Now let's see..... the mailman is female and never comes to the door, I live in such a small town that we don't get pizza delivery and making crank calls using a phone card could be tiresome. but thanks for the tips. I just keep telling myself that tomorrow will be a better day. After reading what Janelle went through, I feel bad even complaining. Great new pic....you are looking good. On another good note, I have lost 27 lbs since surgery and I've barely left my recliner. Think of what I can do once I'm walking. Anyone want to go dancing? Leslie

I want to be there if you start hitting on the mailWOMAN! Oh, that would be too funny! But... since you're gonna be up and feeling better soon, ya want some kids when I have surgery? I think I heard somewhere that you have some childcare experience...?

Amy Ok, don't make me laugh..ouch!! If I had to go to the door for any reason, the person would run away screaming. I've been living in some old sundresses, no bra, no underwear, hair a mess...you get the picture. But hey, with all the time I spend in this dang recliner, my eyebrows are plucked and my nails are polished. I'm going to have hubby find my hand weights tonight so I can start lifting weights in my chair. I'm feeling pretty useless at this point. He's being such a good hubby working all day, cooking his own meals, even doing dishes AND taking care of me. Now Amy...who was that person making up all those stories about me liking children? they could not have been talking about me. It's horses I like.....HORSES .....not kids!!! Leslie 306.5/269/healthy
