Pumpkin Patches?
Hi all~
I'm delurking to ask a quick question! I'm not from Iowa (St. Louis actually!) but I wanted to take the kids to a local pumpkin patch in October, but I have NO idea where they may be! We're in Cedar Falls.
Normally we go back to STL to my favorite patch but we're not making the trip this year, so I want to be prepared when it's time to get them pumpkins. So, does anyone know of one that little kids may enjoy, ages 2 and 3? I'd really like to take a hayride, do the mazes...you get the idea! Any help will be greatly appreciated!
(I know it's still over a month away, but I LOVE October, so I'm trying to get in the mindset early!) Thanks again!

(Yeah, you read that right! I'm 3 lbs under goal!!)
Heritage Farms is really neat. I chaparoned a pre-school trip with my daughter 2 years ago. That was at Eastertime and they had an egg hunt and alot of other activities for them. I've heard of alot of people going out there in the fall and they have a haunted house too. At Christmastime they have breakfast with Santa a sleigh rides. If you get the Courier newspaper keep an eye out for ads when it gets closer. I loved reading your profile. I needed to hear about somebody in the area {I live in Dike which about 15 minutes west of you} and had the same dr. My surgery is scheduled for the 20th and I start the liquids on Tuesday. I found another gal in Cedar Rapids having her surgery on the same day as I and also with Dr. G. I've had fun e-mailing her. I'd like to stay in touch with you since you can't have too many people who know what you're going through. I love fall too!!--Karen
