Howdy neighbor!! I did first go to Barix Clinincs Formly know as BTC but my insurnace denied them and reffered me to U of I!! Are you thinking of going to the one in Belvidere? Thats the one I went to! I really don't know anything about your insurance, but the best thing you can do is contact them......they are pretty upfront and won't waste either of yours time if they didn't think they had a chance. They had never used my insurance before (it was medical assocaites) But tried........and they let me know right away.......NOPE! Their insurance dept is pretty good at knowing who approves and who doesn't! Good luck to ya! Take Care jesi

Hi Janet.... I have BC/BS Alliance Select and I was approved after the first letter. I dont know anything about Barix, as with Jesi, I went to the U of I, and very happy with the results and the professionalism. Nancy 273/193/???

Hi Janet~ I went to Barix Clinics in Belvidere. My experience with them was great. They have a very knowledgeable staff and my doctor (Brian Boe) was so easy to talk to. My insurance is different from yours but they have a very good idea what the approval rates are for all the different carriers out there. All I can tell you is that my experience with them was a very positive one. I would go there again in a heartbeat. It is my understanding that they now also can do the follow up reconstructive surgery for excess skin removal. Sherri
