I'm back
Hi everyone,
I'm back & feeling pretty good. My tushie no longer sags & the saddlebags have smoothed out. I was shocked when I woke up to find myself lying on my back. The surgeon told me prior to the surgery that I would be spending 7 days on my stomach. I had the nurses check to make sure it was ok, and it was. I still can't sit but at least I can lay on my back with a 30 degree incline.
My pain is not bad at all but I'm taking Lortab. It does a pretty good job of handling the pain. I have 4 drains but they are on the outside of my thighs so they aren't a problem.
I had pictures taken again but I've only glimpsed at them so far.
Thanks to al who posted on my page. It was a very nice surprise to read the messages.

Wow, I can't believe you're home already! You are remarkable, woman!!! I think that I would be taking lots and lots of pain meds. Believe me, after baby, I'll be looking at lots and lots of fixin' me up because there is too much of me sagging still.
Well, don't spend too much time on here unless you're at 30 degrees or on your belly. You'll be up and at 'em before we know it, I'm sure.
Glad everything went well!
God bless,
Andrea
Dixie, glad to hear you are out of the hospital and doing alright. Sounds like it's not quite as bad as you imagined which is good.
I'm still dealing with that icky pain just left of my belly button. I just talked to Angie and she says it's probably a staple pulling that just hasn't healed yet. Looks like I'm going to have to buy a binder if I expect to do any walking.
May we both heal quickly.....
