Rain Rain come and stay!!

I am so happy to wake up to gloomy skys and rain......It is just too darn dry around eastern Iowa......I hate crunchy grass!!!! Now if we would lose the humidity I would be really happy......but it looks like we are all in for a nice weekend!! (I kinda feal like a weatherperson this AM) I go back to the Plastic surgeon today for a check-up and she will drain off some of my excess fluid build-up. I have a big buldge of fluid right between my rib cage It feels so nasty and when you touch it, it goes GUSH and moves........ My kids love to pu****! SO we will see how that goes.....any good weekend plans for anyone?????? I am heading to Chucktown (charles city) My parents anniversary was as of recent......the men are gonna do some manly stuff.....me and mom and girls will relax and watch them Then Sunday we are heading to Waterloo for a late lunch at Red Lobster.....treating my folks for their anniversary (there fave resturant) but not before stopping and visiting with Dixie and everyone else in Cedar Falls at the picnic So I am looking forward to the weekend!!! Our gas jumped last night to $2.57 Dontcha just hate when stuff you cannot do without gets spendy!!!!! Oh well......anyways.....Everyone have a great day....Take Care Jesi

I hear ya girl!! I was so glad to see the rain also. This weekend we are going up to my wonderful friend Lavondas house. Her boys are gonig to be home from Iraq for two weeks and we are having a big BBQ I guess. I'm so grateful she invited us. Ladies when you see their pic on her profile just remember that ADRIAN is MINE (he's the one on the left I believe)!! Can't wait to meet them I as well as Lavonda have been so worried and concerned about them being over there. Please pray for them. Not sure what ags is around here I believe it's around the 2.50 area. Geesh will it ever go down? Hardly can't afford for the hubby to drive to work!! But he's still goin! Hello Well, school for me starts a week from this next Monday. I'm going to get my books today. Going to the fair tomorrow, (Friday) with a friend from church. Can't wait! Not sure what I'm doing for the rest of the weekend. Take Care Lisa Young

You can send some of that rain this way! It's pretty dry here also. We are going to Adventureland. My son, his girlfriend and her 2 little girls are coming tomorrow night. We'll do Adventureland Saturday and then have a BBQ. Sunday we'll go to early church, have breakfast somewhere and then go to the zoo. This will be the first time the little ones have been to our house. They are 4 & 6. Should be interesting. The six yr old is an admitted "drama queen". The little one is pretty easy going. I haven't been around little kids for a LONG time! I hope I remember what to do!
