Like Cindy said, you will get a letter from them & calling will do no good. Their hands are tied. You just have to be patient. They have to get written notice from the insurance company before they can go on to the next step. I know it's hard but a day or so one way or the other will make no difference at this point.
You have chosen an excellent surgeon & believe me, any frustration will be worth it. Dr G is very careful about everything. He doesn't take chances & his record shows it. He will make sure that you are in the best possible condition or will know exactly what to expect before he takes you into surgery. At times it will get very frustrating & the waitng to hear from the office is one of the worse frustrations.
Obviously, I think he is the besy surgeon but that's because he was my surgeon & I had such an easy time of it. I'm sure that we all feel our own surgeon is the best if we have a good experience. He & his staff stay up on top of everything & are ready to act on any problem that may arise.

Dixie,
Thanks!!!!
I will look forward to meeting Dr G. I did go to the Seminar at the hospital. There were sooooo many people there that you could hardly see him much less get a chance to talk to him. If all the people that were there are going through the process, I can see where it would take some time to get everyone taken care of.
How long did it take for you to get your surgery date set? If you dont mind my asking..........
