Welcome home Leslie!! Sorry so late in posting to you, but my husband had to have a surgery and we just got back home. My experience with the epidural sounds identical to yours. It was awful!! I do not think that guy knows how to do it yet. I worked OB in the hospital and there were lots of large women that got epidurals with no problem. I think he just needs some more practice and I think thats exactly what we were was practice. I had bruises on my back from him poking around. I sent you an email too. Sorry you did not get them.
