The big day is tomorrow!!

Ok, I've survived the liquid diet and lost 20 lbs in the process. I survived the bowel prep. Now I just have the massive antibiotics that say take with FOOD. WHAT FOOD?? Hopefully they won't make me too sick cause I hate throwing up when my stomach is empty. Amy is sort of my unofficial angel so she will let everyone know how the surgery went. I'm confident that it will go great and that I'll be a normal weight and healthy by next summer. Thanks everyone for your great support and if I'm up to it, I'm going to try and get to the picnic. The antiobiotics won't make you sick but they may make you run to the bathroom. I know, you're wondering how there could be anything left to come through but it happens. Try to take them with some juice. So I take it the cleansing went fine. Sorry, I got busy at work & didn't get a chance to respond to your e-mail about when to take it. Hope it went well. Thanks Nancy! Dixie, thanks for the encouragement and I'm sure it will go fine. I just got a call from Sartori saying that Dr. G is going to do another procedure before me so I don't have to be there until 6:30 instead of 5. I have to have the blood typing done before surgery at 9:30. Will definitely try to make it to the picnic.......... Leslie

Leslie, Good luck tomorrow. This is such an awesome surgery. If you dont recover as fast as everyone else is it ok. I had complications and i know how it feels to be still recovering 8 months out. But you can do it......Lynda
