My mother wanted a new nightgown today so I indulged her.. I went to Fashion Bug because that's the only place that has nightgowns that she likes. A friend of mine works there and complimented me on how well I looked. I told her I was going to need new clothes sooner or later because the ones I have are getting really big. So.. she picks up a pair of pants and says here.. try these on. They were a size 22/24. I said no those aren't gonna fit me yet, she said just try them on. So I did.. and... THEY FIT!!! I haven't been in a 22/24 since ummm I don't remember when! I also hit my 50 pound lost mark today too! I had an awesome day despite the fact that my car litterally died today and I was about 45 miles away from home! So, going from a 30/32 to a 22/24 and hitting that 50 pound lost mark today kinda sorta outweighed the car that died today. Tomorrow it goes to the JUNKYARD!! Thanks for listening.. Tracie S.. 341/289/180 -52 pounds and lovin it!!

Congratulations Tracie! I think most of us can tell you that experiences like that (not the car!) happened to us & we loved it also. This is just one of the first of many WOW! moments you will have in the months to come. Enjoy it. Keep them in your memory for when you get discouraged or hit the dreaded plateau. I find I have mini wow moments almost everyday now. Most would not impress anyone, not like the one you shared, but things like feeling a muscle that used to be enveloped in fat, seeing yourself in a mirror & not recognizing that person. One small one I had was when I looked in a mirror & saw a glimpse of my Mother when she was my age. I never realized I resembled her. Might be because I weighed twice as much as her. Enjoy the big wows & the mini wows! And get some new clothes! Dixie

Awesome Those kind of things really make your day, I remember them well......And 50lbs already You have got to be so proud of yourself.....one word of caution....I know your excited and would love to get new clothes...but dont go crazy buying a lot because you won't be in them long Head to goodwill or somewhere like that...there is nothing worse than spending 20-30 bucks on a pair of jeans that you wear for a month or two......Your doing awesome....Kepp up the good work.....Take Care jesi
