What are you grateful for?
I just had a moment of pure bliss last night (get your mind out of the gutter) before I went to sleep. I just felt so grateful for all of you new friends, old friends, and family who are supporting me. It just came over me like a wave and was wonderful. The physical things I am grateful for:
I CAN...
...CROSS MY LEGS! YEAH!
...TIE MY SHOES LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!
...BREATHE AFTER CLIMBING STAIRS!
...SEE MY FEET WHEN STANDING UP!
...WEAR ONE SHIRT INSTEAD OF TWO TO HIDE MY FAT!
...RIDE ON AN AIRPLANE WITHOUT AN EXTENDER BELT!
Happy happy day....please send me your grateful moments. Thanks!
Colleen
What an awesome question....

3) I can dross my legs
4) I dont "hide" from people that I haven't seen for a long time
5) I wear clothes from the juniors section
...Im sure theres more, but those are off the top of my head!

I am most grateful for my insurance company, Empire BCBS for paying for this life changing surgery! And for my very skilled surgeon, Dr. Sundberg.
The list is long but a few are..

2. I weigh less than my hubby..
3. I can climb stairs and not be totally out of breath and my ankels and knees don't hurt like they use to.
4. Thankful for all the wonderful people I've met around here in person and on-line.
5. Thankful that God gave me the opportunity to have these and more thankful moments in my life.

Morning Colleen & all
I'm grateful for alot of things Like all of you I'm grateful for friends I've met here & for all the support.
Grateful for:
No more diabetic/high blood pressure pills (maybe throwing away cholestrol pills soon)
Shopping for "real" clothes being told by friend that work's at Catherine's to get skinny butt out cuz the clothes are to big for me there!
Getting "normal" blood tests back instead of bad ones
I could go on forever with this list also!
Oh but the best of the best is this one, my sis-in-law has always been the Blond Miss America type. All the guys drooled all over her, the kind you love to hate gal. I hadn't seen her in 3 yrs & I loved it!!! I now weigh less than here & wear smaller clothes! Everything I've lost she has gained! Know I'm the ***** but you have to love it
Hugs
Carolyn
