5 days 'til the big day!!!!
Hi folks!!
Just wanted to say hi and say thanks for the support you all have given me. I have surgery in five days and I am so excited!!!
This has been a long bumpy road, but there is an intersection coming up and it will be smooth sailing from here on out. I know that recovery won't be easy, but the rewards outweigh the pain, so I am ready.
I posted my "before" pic to my profile last night. Boy was that painful!! LOL I don't see myself as being that big when I look in the mirror. It was really hard to do, but I had to so I had a basis for comparison later. I also posted a pic of my fiance. He is so cute!! (to me anyway, I love him to death)
I will probably post again before I leave for Omaha. Wish me luck!!!
Hugs,
Katie
5 days until I start my new life!!!
Katie, yes, your boyfriend is cute. You got a keeper there. And after looking at your profile, I can already see the thin YOU in that body of yours. You are going to be drop dead gorgeous one year from now. Not that you aren't attractice now, because you are! But I can see a thin, sexy Katie just waiting to emerge in you. I can't wait until you unleash her by using the tool that your surgery will provide to drop all your excess weight. WOW!! What a bright and incredible future you have.
YOU GO GIRL!!!

Morning Katie,
the happy dance. Patience isn't a big virtue of mine but hitting those bumpy roads then surgery was the best thing that ever happened. Nice pic Won't be to many more days & you'll be a "loser" in the best possible way. NutPicker lives down Omaha way hope you 2 can meet up.

Good luck Katie!
I'm be thinking about ya and can't wait to hear the rest of your story.
I'm with ya on the picture... In my mind, I always see the "old" me before I gained all of this weight. Pictures and mirrors pull me back to reality. Now I look forward to seeing what the new improved me will look like!
