Have to change my date:(

Well.........I am going to have to change my surgery date. As some of you already know I work in a medical office for 7 dr.'s(very busy). We are making a major transformation from paper records overy to electronic records. Spoke to the docs about August 29 and they want me to wait until OCTOBER They want me to wait as they want me to be the core trainer on the new computer system we will be using. Could have knocked me over with that one. But ok with that I geuss. After just having a week off with my daughter being in the hospital, thought I'd better take what I could get. They really are a great bunch to work for! My only problem with Oct. is that is usually when the cold and flu season kicks off and we are burried from October to March. Just so they don't back out on me when October rolls around. So yes I am disappointed but I knew this was a major possibility when Dr. gave me this date. I'm sure Dr. Coster will understand. He is such a down to earth all round great guy. So any way I wait again. Thank you for all of the well wishes! I will have to look back at them in a few mo. You guys are the greatest here!

Like you said yourself.....I would talk to them and ask them to promise or something that they will not change their minds again come busy Ocotber! I would hate to see you wait, and then they change their tune again. I was lucky, I didn't have to deal with an employer, as I am a stay at home mom. I am so sorry they are delaying your surgery. I know I would be heartbroken. But at least you know you are needed/respected at work. I have an incredibly terrible job that I hate and can't wait to get out of here!! I am going to start looking for something else while I am out recovering from surgery. Anyway, I think the time will fly by for you over the next couple of months. Being busy at work certainly passes the time!! Take care!! Katie

Kim, DANG! I can imagine you must be so bummed but what can ya do? Hopefully time will move quickly and October will be here before you know it. I am so glad you like Dr. Coster- I can not wait for my appointment. Its so good to have a way to talk with people going through the same things!!
