Hello

Well I got to meet my new surgeon..he is awesome and very cute,lol ( hope I watch my mouth while under anesthetic,lol) I start my liguid diet on the 5th get my pre surgery physical on the 8th,then comes the big day on the 15th YAHOOOOO...now to stay busy till then thats the hard part!!! I havent met mine yet...but the pics he isnt homely.......I have a really really cute chiropracter... wooo hooo...I was having problems wiht my knee a while back...he would have to stick my foot between his thighs and pull on my leg......mind you....I didnt complain about this! always wondered what he would do if I wiggled my toes!

You guys are too funny My last two family doctors have been really good looking. Lori, our surgeries are pretty close together. I can hardly believe it is actually going to happen. I don't know if anyone else did this but I have started making broth. I know that boillion doesn't taste all that great and there is a lot of salt in canned broth so I decided to make my own. I fried up some little breakfast steaks with a little olive oil and spices then added lots of water and simmered it. I added a few carrots and potatoes and onion. After the steak was really tender, I put lots of the clear broth in ice cube trays. The rest of the broth and meat and veggies, I put in the blender and made cream soup. I put this in ice cube trays too. Now I have little cubes of clear soup for that 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after. I also have some cream soup for later. I plan to do the same thing with chicken. Has anyone else tried this? Leslie

Leslie awesome idea on the cream soup's i didnt think of that 1 !!! ..summer and hot I have been making a lot of chix salad,beef salad and such for working guy's lunches and freezing the broth off the meat..so now I can make me some cream soups too tyty for the idea...keep in touch!!
