Support Group starting in Iowa City

I was just at UIHC for my six month check up, and I was told they are working to start a support group there in Iowa City. I think that it will be great for them and for us. They are thinking it will be sometime this fall or at the end of the year before they have everything planned out. Thanks, molly

WOW....long time no talk!!! How was your 6 month check-up?? I hope all is well with you....I cannot believe we have yet to get together or run into eachother.....we have to!!! That would be nice if they were to offer a support group......I am nineteen months out now and never recieved anything for my 18month check-up......I thought we were supposed to have an 18 month check-up.....well anyways my PCP did my bloodwork just yesterday. Everything's going great so far. I'm down 100 pounds from my first consultation in Iowa City a year ago. Still struggling to get in my work outs everyday, but otherwise I'm having no problems. molly
