Bandsters in Iowa???

I spend much of my time on the national lap-band board but would like to see if there are some fellow bandsters here in Iowa? I am three 1/2 weeks out and am researching support groups? Jennifer

I can't think of anyone off the top of my head......but I have also have CRS(can't remember sh*t), so I don't think I can be much help!!!! Hopefully you will get some answers.......does the place that preformed your surgery have a support group you can go to??? Although most of us aren't LapBanders.....we offer great support just the same.....if you need us, just let us know Take Care Jesi

I am planning on getting the lap band. I am from Iowa also. I am consulting with dr sudan in omaha august 4th. I hope all goes well and my insurance pays they should. They said as long as you are 100lb overweight. I have midlands choice ppo. I got to get all the pre opt testing done still. Have you lost much weight yet? do you feel differently?
