OT Coffee time

Morning All I got together with Janet & Lori Alford 2 days this week for coffee. They were camping & invited me down. I haven't seen Janet for several months & Lori in a year, so was great getting together with them. Remember to keep Lori in your thoughts & prayers, she's weeks away from surgery now. She is very motivated & more than ready for surgery. It's always great fun to get together, should do it more often. If any of you live near a newbie, take them under your wing, get together with them, pass them on some of your clothes etc. Janet was my leaning post thru those early months. Her & Jody shared clothes with me, what a great feeling fitting into those smaller clothes. Sharing clothes sure cuts down on expenses. Ok enough rambling. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Hi Carolyn it sounds nice that you have a few friends to share your experiences with. I am finally learning a little about my pouch so I dont get so nauseated. I was so thirsty yesterday and those sips just werent hitting the spot I hope I don't get that way today I most likely will since I am going ouside in the heat to watch my daughter play in her pool. I am jealous......sounds like a blast......tho I have yet to meet Lori....I know Janet, and she is a blast!!! I would love to be able to sit down and have some coffe with you too I have Andrea, but she is still an hour away, I know what you mean tho.....it is so nice and important to have those people that you can share everything with and be there for eachother!!!! I would be lost without Andrea!! I just wish she were closer Oh well.....the srive isn't that bad.......Take Care Jesi
