Oh I remember being so sore after surgery! I feel for you but I know that each day it gets a little better. SLOWLY incorporate some exercise. I mean, here I am at 3 months out and just starting to be more active. I don't know if I was just a wuss or what but I was sore for the first 6 weeks after. You take care and push your liquids! Welcome to the losing side! Hugs, Jen

Jen ~~ good for you!! You'll be amazed at how much better you feel after you get in the habit of working out. I took the week off last week and it felt great to be back at it again this morning. Try the eliptical -- that's an awesome machine to do cardio with. Good luck with the smoking thing -- my s/o smoked 2 packs a day for lloonnnggg time until he almost died - quit cold turkey that day. I can give you miles of reasons why should quit, but unfortunately only you can make the decision. I can start with my 50 y/o aunt who just had one lung removed (cancer) and has emphsema in the other one. At best they are giving her 5 years to live. I did a little research that showed that women who smoked had a much better chance of getting lung cancer than men. Lucky us. Just do it -- we know you can!! Best of luck to you. Janie PS This was a great weekend for laying around the pool -- did that myself.
