Hi, long time since I've had a chance to get on here but just wanted to say hope everyone had a great 4th weekend. It was nice to have a couple of days off with family. I still am at that plateau, over 7 months now and I am just desperate. I've given in to eating chocolate just hoping maybe I will dump and get myself back on track again. I do try to workout. The kids and I have a pool pass for the summer so we yes walk to the pool and home again about 5 blocks each way which is a nice little walk, although they think I am torturing them, but they need the exercise too. I see they have fallen into my habits that I had as a child and I am trying to cut it off now before they get any heavier. Anyways anyone have any good summer recipes. I am saladed out and I stilll can not eat chicken, fish or any meat other than ground beef or shrimp and after months of that I just don't want to eat anything that takes more than 5 minutes to cook. So any recipes would be great. Have a great week everyone

Hello! My 4th was great. We initially were going to have a pool party but due to the rain, we just grilled out and everyone seemed to have a good time. Have you tried Turkey tenders from the Hy-Vee deli? they are awesome. I marinade them in Terriyaki sauce and grill them. they're wrapped in bacon but I don't eat the bacon. It sucks that you can't do chicken or fish. I don't like the taste of ground beef anymore. But I love marinated BBQ chicken on the grill. Have you tried to boil your chicken? To me, it's juicier. I don't have any great recipes because I don't cook much. I grill. We also take potatoes and slice them and wrap them in foil with green peppers and onions and throw them on the grill. I don't eat too much but the kids love them. Have you tried sugar free candy? It's ok if you don't eat much. I like almonds as well. Hope this gets better for you!!! Hugs, Jen
