Hello I was wet within 3 minutes of the ride, It was pouring down hard. I was driving a 641 Ford tractor. Got into Beaman, (near Conrad) and finally stopped raining by then, but I was COLD. That was our 15 minute break. Next stop Grundy Center Fairgrounds. But as I was turning into Beaman, the tractor died. Dad did not tell me or show me how to start the tractor, so thank goodness he was there and helped me. Then got into Grundy center and at the first stop light it died on me, but this time I couldn't get it started. The people on this ride were so friendly they pulled me into the Fairgrounds. They got it going by pull starting it. Dad right then says we'll go to Steamboat Rock and call it quits. Battery problem and carburator (spelling) problem. I forgot to put sun tan lotion on but the sun didn't come out until we got home. I'm still a little sore, all the little bumps. I would do it again if he asks me sooner. Well, talk to you later, gotta go help Dad drive the tractor off the trailer. Lisa Young
