OT: Moody Blues Concert
Morning Gang
I'm still on a high from the concert last night! It was the best. These guys sound the same as they did 30 years ago! Beth & I had a great time, like we were teens again. It was amazing at the different ages that attended, there was one couple that had to be late 60's early 70's in age! But considering the group came to the states in 1968 they made a heck of an impact on all ages. We went to Famous Daves for ribs & yummy yummy yummy Wish I could go again tonight wherever they are playing!

I am glad you had fun.....a girl needs that every once in awhile!!! Hey I am gonna show my age, or lack there of it.....I know Famous Daves But I have no idea who the Moody Blues are.......still, I am glad you enjoyed it! Do you listen to country music at all??? Well me and my family do and we love this new band "Big & Rich" and we are going to see them at the Iowa State Fair in August.....I am looking forward to it, and Cowboy Troy will be there too ;) Other than that it has been forever since being at a concert. P.S. I am getting my hair cut short and I am soooo nervous it;s been awhile since I had short hair but fig with my upcoming surgery it would be easier not to mention cooler( I feel like I am burning up this summer ,lol) K ,take care,Lori..
sounds like it was a great time. We must be around the same age because I do know who the Moody Blues are but wasn't aware they were still (or again) playing togather. Bet it was nice not worrying if you were going to fit well in the seats. Famous Dave's yum yum one of my favorite places. I haven't tried babecue since surgery because of sugar in BBQ sauce maybe later. Have a great day
Hi Carolyn wow sounds like you had a great time I am happy for you. Did the barbecue sauce bother you from the ribs? I'm still learning with my foods since my surgery was a month ago. I make myself eat I'm never hungry or thirsty. I went and bought some weigh****cher meals and I nibble on those for now I get some down and do well with it I mean keep it down. take care.

Okay - my age is hanging out now too -- Knights in White Satin used to be one of my faves. And I love Famous Daves -- we go to the one in CF. In answer to the others BBQ sauce has never bothered me, nor has ketchup. Skip the bread and just eat the meat -- I love the chicken and brisket is tops!

Hi Carolyn,
I am soooooooo jealous. I've always loved them too. I used to put darling daughter to nap time, put the headphones on and just crank it up. I'm glad they're still around and playing. I've only been to one concert in my life and it was Led Zepplin. I got so high just from the "air" -cough cough- around me at the concert I didn't go to any others. They just opened a Famous Dave's here by the new arena and dogtrack, but I wouldn't dare try and eat anything like that, but I can drool!!! LOL Hope you're doing great. Sue
