A closer referral

My dr recently referred me to Iowa City. That is such a long drive from where I live in NW Iowa (to give logistics I am about 40 mins from spirit lake/okoboji/spencer). Does anyone know of a facility/provider closer to me with in a couple of hours? Its about 6 to Iowa City. Thanks!

Morning Billie Jo Sorry can't help you out on that one, to bad Dr Shinnerl moved from Cherokee. Sioux City or the Dunes are the closest I know of so you aren't gaining there anyway. Keep us posted. Hugs Carolyn

Hi Billie Jo, I am close to you anyway,I am going to a clinic in Omaha,it seems very good.You can e-mail me and I will send you the addy and phone #,they have been good at scheduling my appointment so I can get lab work,talk to nutrisionist ,ect..in the same day!A lil closer then Iowa City..well worth the drive.. looking forward to talking to ya,Lori A.

I really can't help ya either.......is Cedar Falls or grinell closer??? Des Moines??? Have you checked with doctors in Soiux Falls? I believe there are some there. Otherwise, Mason City is closer than Iowa City, CF, CR, Grinell, Or DM. Good luck. Dixie

How about Rochester? I hear they have a pretty good program. Boone and Ames also have good programs. I went to Boone, Dr. Sundberg. He's had the surgery himself.
