Weight loss tool?
I have been reading allot of the posts on here, and can sympathise, being 7 months out now, I am down quite a bit, however last couple weeks it has slowed down a lot. I am also feeling like I can eat more, which is not good. Not near as much as pre-op, but still more than 2 months ago. I realize that we all get depressed when scale stops moving, I know I am. However, only thing that keeps me feeling good, is now I am at a point where I can work at losing. 8 months ago, I did not have the energy to excersice, nor the will. Now I can do the things I need to do to lose weight old fashioned way. This was not a cure all, but a tool. I hope that anyone on here who had this done is realizing that. Don't be depressed becuase your not losing, become determined to work harder for those pounds. Only be down on your self if you are not willing to put forth the effort. At that point your surgery did not fail you, that is when you have failed yourself.
Isn't that the truth. I am still losing since only 3 months out but I do fear the time the weight loss slows down dramatically. Hopefully it won't be for at least another 50 - 75 lbs. I am able to do alot more than what I had in the past but still far from what I could do when I was going back and forth between 235 and 270. I was also youngwer then. I do keep telling myself it is up to me to make this work and the surgery was not a quick fix. I also dread the day when my appetite starts to increase. Thanks for the reminder
