Updated profile and more hoops....

Hi everyone, Rene fixed up my profile so it looks really nice now. I got a message from Covenant yesterday that my pulse oximetry test showed that my oxygen levels fell to 80% twice in 7 hours of sleep and they are making me do a sleep study. I was hoping to bypass this hoop but no such luck. I want to try and schedule it in Cedar Rapids and I'm hoping that it won't take forever to get done. Right now I am waiting on Covenant to get my medical records from my PCP...a very long story about how many times I've called and was told they had already been sent. so they can send everything off to the insurance company. I am trying to stay optimistic here but I found out that you really need to stay on top of these medical people to get anything done. So I'll keep on keeping on and hope for a surgery date soon. Carolyn, thanks for the encouragement! I know that I haven't been at this as long as most people but I did my research, and have kept on top of everything with getting all my tests done etc. No matter how quickly I get things done, the doctor's offices still have their timetables for how quickly they are willing to do things. To think, they told us that WE are responsible for getting this process done...NOT!! I just hate to think that with all my pushing to have it all done, it will be delayed 3-4 months because they can't get me in for the sleep study. I don't mind doing it but I know it takes awhile even to get an appointment. UGH!! ok...I'll quit whining now. Have a great day (even if it rains again) Leslie
