Good morning all, Hope that you all had a good week. I'm sorry that I didn't respond to everyone last week. I did read all posts. What are your plans and goals for this week? My main goal is to get control of the snacking again. Still only snacking on good things, but too much of a good thing is not so good, right? I also want to work out 5-6 times this week and add more fruits and veggies each day instead of just cheese sticks as snacks. What are your goals this week? Also, what are you going to do in the heat of this wonderful day? I'm not looking forward to sweltering in school all week, but after Thursday, I'm free!! Did have hubby put window air in the living room last night, but still need one put in the upstairs soon. Hope that you all have a wonderful week! God bless, Andrea

Good morning. I am gonna keep on my diet so I can lower my bmi from 70 to as close as I can to 60. I was told at 70 I would have to have a open instead of lap. I would rather have lap so I am really watching what I eat. I am doing very well too. I am going to keep fighting head hunger. I also will try to do more exersize.

Cindy, Wow, it sounds like you are doing well watching what you eat so diligently. The exercise will definitely help. Keep up the good work and have a great week! God bless, Andrea

Slow around here again I will be counting down the days with ya...lol! I cannot wait to do some camping and hanging out soon!!!! I need to tan my legs they are super white yet.....I am doing okay on my arms and face....but my legs are a ghostly white yet. I have a few goals....better control of my eating and more exercising. I was walking the last couple weeks with my neighbor every morning at 5:30am....but now that the kids aren't in school, I don't want to wake up so early....I need to find something else to do! I told her the walking is good for my health but now that the kids are all home sleeping is good for my sanity and that is a little more important right now Other than that not much else is new.....Have a great week....Take Care Jesi

Jes, Hey, girl - you're right - it seems a little slow. Just need some of us home for the summer to pick things up, right? After today, one day left of school. We just found out this morning that if we are all ready with our end of the year duties (preparing the room like covering up the shelves with paper, clearing our desk and all decorative things, taking things off the walls, etc.) that we can leave shortly after the kids do at noon tomorrow and then we don't have to come back Thursday. Yippee!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be bustin' rear to get things finished today and tomorrow morning. Can't wait to go camping either. Also need to look into getting the roof done, if Mark is serious about doing it himself. I understand where the sleeping helps to keep your sanity. I can't wait to sleep in - but you know me, I will probably get up before everyone else and hit the gym or the pavement. Remember, I traded one addiction for another! - Wait - I still have the food addiction, so where does the gym addiction fit in? Oh well, call me screwed up and let's just say I have an addictive personality - DUH! See if you can get some time in to walk in the evening with the family - or, have Jason take them for an hour after dinner. You need to figure something out for your health. Well, I'll call you this week. I know that you are probably busy with birthday plans. Have a great week. God bless, Andrea

Hi Andrea and everyone else, I'm so sorry you're going to have to deal with the heat at school. Is school out for the summer yet & these your last days? School in Tripoli has been out for about 10 days already but one of my friends who teaches in a church school still has a couple more days to finish everything up. I don't have to deal with heat where I work. It is always too cold, winter or summer. Today it's 67 degrees. I'm wearing a short sleeved sweater & a long sleeved Angora sweater to keep warm (size small by the way!!) Gotta keep the temp down & humidity low or the printers stop working. I prefer that to being too warm anyday. I bought myself a bike this morning & discovered that it is true that once you learn to ride a bike you never forget. I love it. It's just a cheap WalMart bike but it's the first time I have had to deal with gears, all 18 of them. We live 4.5 miles from town so I'm hoping to ride the bike to for my water exercise class & then ride back afterward. Unfortunatley we live on gravel & I can't say I enjoy riding on that. My goals are pretty simple- try not to snack, eat food that is good for me, drink extra water, and lose weight! Ok, I have a question & would love your input. I want to wear a halter type top when I'm mowing & maybe walking on uor road but can't seem to find any. I bought a swimming suit top but it is very revealing. As a matter of fact, I'm afriad of falling out of it while mowing. With my luck it will happen & I won't notice it until someone drives up. My chest is quite small now but saggy. I bought a very nice sports bra this weekend that I love. It's a pretty aqua color & is way more concealing than the swim suit top. Do I dare wear it alone or will everyone know I'm just wearing a bra? I also got a red & blue one that maybe I can get away with wearing alone. Dixie

Dixie, I can't imagine a sweater at school today! Our room is generally not too bad - don't even open the windows to let the humidity in, but today, IT'S ROASTING!!! The back of my legs are sweating as I sit here and type - you know, bare legs (wearing a skort) on a vinyl chair - ewwwwwwwwwwwwww. Only one more day after today to go and then freedom! Wow, biking to the swimming classes sounds fun. Have you ever done a cycling class? Does your gym offer them? My hubby and I do them once or twice a week. It's quite challenging and different instructors do different things to get your heart rates up for a good hour. I almost died last week when the instructor had us find our maximum heart rate while cycling. I felt like I was going to hyperventilate, but survived! I'm sure that you will do great with your goals this week. Can you give me a good swift kick in the britches from your side of the state so I can get control again, too??? Okay, now, a halter top - girl, you are brave!! Can you find one of the halter bras to go with it? I, personally, wouldn't take my little 38C's, to 40B's out in public or even out of the shower without at least a sports bra. (Yes, little when you take into account that I used to be 48DD-48DDD). I even wear a regular, stiff, underwire bra with a sports bra over it to the gym. My everday bras are underwire, too. Don't need these "girls" going anywhere where they are not supposed to be, like falling out of halter tops. Now, here's a picture for ya - cute little Dixie with her tight tummy, tight rear, and little halter top riding her bike down the gravel. Your hubby will probably be right behind you not letting you get out of his sight!~!! Have a great week and God bless, Andrea

Andrea, I was about the same size as you prior to losing weight & am also at around 38 B- C now. I just deflated! They aren't too bad though & I can get away with just wearing a sports bra. I hate underwire bras. They always bite me under the arm. They are better at supporting though. I like the picture of Al following along behind me but it's not going to happen. He doesn't seem to notice. WE don't have a cycling class & I'm glad we don't. That sounds awful! I don't like to get out of breath and for some reason rarely sweat anymore. I guess I'm just too much of a lady. You know, ladies don't sweat, they glisten. LOL I bet i'll have glistened alot by the time I get to Tripoli tomorrow if I end up riding my bike. Dixie

Dixie - I would definitely wear the sports bra!!! Who the heck cares -- where you're at what will they actually see anyway. I see all these other skinny minny girls wearing them out with shorts.... I have a bikini halter type top that I got at Walmart last year I can wear with shorts (only at home!!) Especially with it being colored everyone would think it was a swimming suit top anyway!! I say "Go for it". Besides it will look good with your new belly button ring! Janie ;)

Thanks Jugs, oops I mean Jane, & Andrea, I'll wear it! But if i get arrested for indecent exposure, it's on your head! And Janie, you are determined I will get a ring, aren't you? Ain't going to happen! Dixie
